ViewerVitals.tv Public playback diagnostics for Twitch streams

Terms of use

ViewerVitals is a free diagnostic tool offered as-is. Using it means accepting the following.

What the service is

ViewerVitals measures public playback of live Twitch channels from your own browser and reports what it observed, along with suggestions about what to investigate. It is a measurement tool, not a professional service, and its output is not a guarantee about any broadcast, network or device.

Results are observations, not diagnoses

Every result describes one browser, on one network, over thirty seconds. The path between a broadcaster and a viewer includes the broadcaster's equipment, Twitch's infrastructure, the viewer's network and the viewer's device, and ViewerVitals cannot isolate which of those caused what it saw. Do not treat a result as proof of fault by any party, and do not rely on it as the sole basis for a decision that matters.

Relationship to Twitch

ViewerVitals is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch Interactive or Amazon. It uses Twitch's public API and embedded player in line with the Twitch Developer Services Agreement. Twitch's own terms govern the stream content you view through the embedded player, and nothing here modifies them.

Acceptable use

Availability

The service may be unavailable, may change, and may be withdrawn. It depends on Twitch's API and embedded player, both of which are outside our control and can change at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ViewerVitals and OPD Technologies accept no liability for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its output. The service is provided without warranty of any kind.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service grows, particularly when Twitch account connection launches. Continued use after a change means accepting it.
